He's first seen escorting the recently captured Drew and an injured Master Hogan back to Brackenholme, taking the Werewolf to meet the elder Werebear. He later gives back Drew his sword when he and his men provide a distraction to allow Drew and Hector escape from Lucas and Vankaskan. He later accompanies his Lords to Highcliff, fighting against the Lionguard.
He, Lord Broghan and other 30 men from the Woodland Watch go after Drew and Whitley, arriving in time to assist the inhabitants of Haggard in the fight against Count Kesslar. While displeased by the escape of the young Werelords, he agrees on continuing the search of Lady Gretchen, but making sure they remain hidden from the sight of the Horselords.
When the Lionguard ambushes his men, he's captured and imprisoned at High Stable, but released once the fight is over. He later escorts the Wereladies back to Brackenholme, and is captured when the Wyldermen take over the city. He's released by Lord Milo and fights alongside the young Werestag, Red Rufus and Yuzhnik, just as the wolfs arrive to help the survivors of of Brackenholme turn the tide against the savages. He survives the battle and is ascended to General by Whitley, refusing to stay in bed in order to help to rebuild the sacked city.
